TERNA ENERGY, member of GEK TERNA Group, is currently looking for:
System Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Performs specification, analysis, testing
and integration of mechanical and electromechanical components
Conducts mechanical equipment design &
engineering for various equipment including pressure vessels, heat
exchangers, rotating machinery (compressors, turboexpanders, pumps, etc.)
and pipelines
Oversees engineering contractor work during
FEED and detailed engineering stages to prepare specifications, datasheets
and RFQ for mechanical equipment (skid packages) including pumps,
compressors, tanks, etc.
Creates accurate, complete and concise
engineering documentation to define critical component specifications and
requirements
Schedules and oversees the Performance of
pipe and vessel stress analysis (static/dynamic) by qualified
subcontractors and certifiers
Prepares technical bid scope and performs
technical bid evaluation
Reviews supplier quotations and makes
recommendations for supplier awards for equipment
Coordinates design changes with the
technical team
Works closely with cross-functional
colleagues related to project assignments in a collaborative and
communicative fashion to deliver high caliber results.
Participates as needed with project teams;
supports project teams as needed with all relevant initiatives.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in gas
distribution networks, pipelines, compression, hydrogen production –
electrolysis
Good understanding of electrolysis and fuel
cells
Ability to work in an integrated team:
renewables, transmission, BESS, hydrogen production-compression-storage,
hydrogen transmission and blending, power to X, end user support
An appetite to work in the hydrogen and
decarbonisation sector
Competences:

Strong analytical, problem-solving and
decision-making skills
