TERNA ENERGY’s shares were listed on the ATHEX Main Market on November 14, 2007. Within the context of its listing, the company offered to investors 30.066.700 common registered shares, through a combined offer of newly issued shares from a share capital increase paid in cash via a public offering and the simultaneous sale of existing shares in a limited circle of individuals in Greece and in special and international investors abroad, which did not constitute a public offering. Total funds raised amounted to € 330,638,675.40.

On November 28^th 2024, Masdar, the UAE’s clean energy leader, acquired 70% of the outstanding shares of TERNA ENERGY SA (TENERGY.AT) from GEK TERNA and other shareholders.

Masdar has launched an all-cash mandatory tender offer to acquire all the remaining outstanding shares of TERNA ENERGY with the intention of reaching 100%.
