– The project is being constructed by TERNA S.A.

TERNA ENERGY Group is developing a significant new investment in Bulgaria.

This investment involves the design, procurement, and construction of a 130 MW photovoltaic power plant in the Vratitsa area in Burgas, Bulgaria.

As part of the strategic collaboration between TERNA ENERGY (under Masdar’s ownership) and GEK TERNA, the project is being constructed by TERNA S.A., the construction arm of GEK TERNA Group.

The project includes the installation of the photovoltaic station as well as the complete set of grid connection works, including the construction of a new 33/110 kV substation.

According to the planned timeline, the photovoltaic park is expected to be connected to Bulgaria’s electricity grid by the end of 2026.

With this investment, TERNA ENERGY strengthens its presence in Bulgaria, where it already operates two wind farms with a total installed capacity of 30 MW.
